Im new to here as I was browsing on the internet and came across it. I think it's great that they have this!!! I'm 17years old and about a year and half ago I was told by my doctor that I had Raynaud's. Nobody in family as I'm aware has Raynaud's so im the only one who suffers with it.

Welcome to the site, hopefully you will get some good advice, if needed, and lots of support. I know I have and it is great to 'talk' to people that understand what you are going through.
Having Raynaud's means that you have to keep your body warm so that the blood does not have to rush from your extremities to your body, if possible. But it does not mean that you have to limit your life, just take precautions. Have you got a penguin from the RSA (Raynaud and Scleroderma Association)? You warm it for two minutes in the microwave. I hold it against my body with my hands to keep both warm. That is good when you are at home but when I go out I wear gloves with a silver thread from the RSA and if necessary mycoal bags (from the RSA) inside. When you take the bags out of their envelope they warm up in contact with the air and they keep warm for 8 hours. It gives you a lot of freedom. Take them out of the gloves if they get too hot and put them back later. Have fun.
hi hannah i was diagnosed with raynauds about five years ago, am the only person in my family to have the condition. So i was young when i was diagnosed as well, i find the RSA and it's website as been a great help. then i found this website as well, it is great to know you are not alone, and their are other people who understand.
