Leg Ulcers - Can anyone suggest anything that might help?

I HAVE HAD ULCERS ON MY ANKLES AND FEET FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS. I HAVE HAD SKIN GRAFTS IN HOSPITAL AND TRIED ALL SORTS OF DRESSINGS BUT CANNOT GET THEM TO HEAL. CAN ANYONE ONE SUGGEST ANYTHING THAT MIGHT HELP?

Well I go and visit a podiatrist once a week for general maintenance, during most months of the year I suffer with ulcer on the pads and heals of my feel and they are bandaged with Inodine and dressings. If they become infected I am usually put on an antibiotic called Flufloxicillan (think thats how you spell it - could always google it). Try this and see.

If you have access to a hyperbaric oxygen chamber (at wound care offices in hospitals usually), I would highly recommend. It's a huge time committment (6 days/week for 50-70 treatments at 2-2.5 hours each), but the rewards are worth it. I've done it twice in the past 6 years and am considering doing it again.
