Kind of answered my own question - put hope this will other help people. Found it on net doctor:

"Sudafed non-drowsy decongestant tablets and liquid both contain the active ingredient pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, which is a type of medicine called a decongestant.

Pseudoephedrine works by acting on alpha receptors that are found in the walls of blood vessels in the linings of the nasal passages and sinuses. It causes these blood vessels to contract and narrow, thereby decreasing blood flow into the linings of the nose and sinuses. This reduces the feeling of congestion and also reduces the production of mucus.

Pseudoephedrine can be used to relieve a blocked nose and sinus congestion associated with conditions such as allergies, colds and flu.

Use with caution in

Decreased kidney function

Severely decreased liver function.

People who have difficulty passing urine (urinary retention).

Men with an enlarged prostate gland (prostatic hypertrophy).

People with blood circulation problems such as Raynaud's disease."

i have learnt from experience definatly dont take any decongestant at all!!!

some brands dont write on not to take if you have raynauds, so i thought those ones would be ok turns out not so as they have the same ingredient and just didnt bother to write the warning on the patient leaflet.

on the plus side my unbelieveably freezing hands came in handy to reduce my temp, who needed an ice pack when you have freezing hands like ours.

hi kaz321, went to see the doctor, cos i was feeling hot, cold, sweating the lot, aches and pains. turns out i've a got virus, wondering if i could take anything as decongestants as i can't take them - nosebleeds. he said it would be fine, would do the opposite, by chance was asking about decongestants best ones to take at the pharmacy in town. was advised with the amount of medication i take, the only think i can do is inhale steam.

i think with being ill, like i was and believing the duty doctor - could have made things worse for myself.
