I have had Reynaud's in my hands for years and which I manage. Since having Covid and 'Covid toes' I have been left with feet that react badly (redness, itching, and discomfort) to heat (exposure to sun, hot showers/baths/walking in boots in bad weather) and also sometimes to the touch of fabric (bed linen or the hem of trousers). I have had tests for autoimmune disease which are negative. I am also waiting for nerve tests. My GP and a rheumatology consultant have suggested this reaction could also be Reynaud's which I don't understand at all since my feet react to heat and not cold. Has anyone else come across this please?

It sounds very much like Erythromelalgia from what you describe. Some rheumatologists lump this rare condition in with Raynauds but it’s more likely a cutaneous display of neuropathy - although they can overlap. I have both, secondary to systemic sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases and allergies. Here’s a link that may help you start researching what’s causing yours I hope: sruk.co.uk/scleroderma/eryt....
