Hope with MBST

I am 72 years old and was badly affected with linear morphea at the age of 2! Dragged all around Harley Street at the time, no one could diagnose what it was - I was over 40 when seeing a dermatologist for another reason and he diagnosed it. I have never had any treatment or medication. Was told to put lanolin on the lesions and go horse riding to strengthen my leg.

I have sclerosis scarring and muscle and fat loss the whole inside of my leg, patches on my back and a large area of alopecia with hair loss in my neck . The leg especially is very sensitive and tight.

Interestingly after an injury to my other knee that was refusing to heal, on my physio’s recommendation we decided to do an expensive course of MBST treatments. I’m on day 4 of 9 days, 1 hour a day. £1500!!!

Anyway damaged knee is improving but amazingly my sclerotic knee has eased and I’m getting much less burning tightness and discomfort. I’m amazed, so watch this space!

Had to look this up so you might want to explain that it’s magnetic resonance a bit like MRI. I had this once for RA/ inflammatory arthritis in wrists. It worked really well and I finally stopped needing wrist splints etc. I’m not sure how it works and I was a sceptic at first but I’m really pleased that it’s worked so well for you too😊

yes you’re right it is connected to MRI scanning. It came from the doctors noticing that patients seemed to be in less pain after a MRI scan. There aren’t many machines here in the UK. I had my lower back treated in 2020 and it felt like someone had removed an iron bar, it was amazing. I too was sceptical but was blown away.

Hence when it was suggested to help my right knee (that the dog succeeded in bending the wrong way) I was willing to give it a try. It is working on the damaged knee but what is amazing is the beneficial effect it is having on my linear morphea affected leg.

So glad it helps you too! I've had multiple MBST treatments for both osteoporosis and healing/pain for joints and bones. I'm not in UK, but had in my city a medical clinic that offers MBST. They have the osteoporosis bed and the device for spine/knees/shoulder... also like a bed.

I don't have the scleroderma or raynauds , I just had to join to be able to post a comment.

Really glad to have found other people who benefitted from this therapy.
