long time sore throat and getting worse.

Hello. I’m long time retired professional. I seem to always cough after sneezing but now I wake up coughing. Tired because my throat seems to take longer to settle down.

I paint in oils as my hobby so this is done in short spurts in between coughs. This winter my throat is continually sore

This is ruining my retirement and the quality of my life.

Hi Artman

Sorry to hear of your plight.

I have something similar mine is caused by reflux of acid GERD it’s called and very common. I did not believe the diagnosis at first as I have never had stomach problems.

The acid burns the throat and causes a cough. Lots of antacids.

Best of luck.
