Lung function test?

thepictrofdoryingrey profile image

I (25F) was diagnosed with SS ten years ago and had a pulmonary function test yesterday. I probably had a lung function test previously, but certainly not like yesterday's.

I've been feeling really nauseous since. The dizziness passed mid-afternoon, but the nausea hasn't yet. Just wondering if that's something others have experienced, and found a quick fix for?

hi, I had a lung function test a few weeks ago and had no nausea. It was blowing into a machine following different instructions for about 40 mins. Was your test the same ?

Hi. I had a lung function test a couple of weeks ago. I did feel very nauseous afterwards for the whole afternoon and evening. Not sure what causes it but I did feel like there might have been some gas or something in the machine that you blow into.Maybe others might know? I would be interested to know.

Helium and carbon monoxide but in tiny amounts.
