Doppler test

Had a Doppler test months back with nurse at my doctors was told everything was fine from the test but today went to podiatry assessment and she checked pulses in feet and said that the second sound which is located top of foot was quite weak in sound this I recall was the same when the nurse did the Doppler as I asked if it was OK and she said yes its fine,where as the lady assessing me today feels its not really OK and thinks I should see someone in vascular.

Has anyone with Raynaud's had a Doppler with weak sound to feet as its got me very worrid .

Hi littleones, yes I had a Doppler with results like yours but I had an anyurism at the back of my knee in the popletal artery,you really need to take this further and get a definitive diagnosis, push your GP for a referral to a vascular specialist.

I had a Doppler test with the same result as you, I was told that nothing needed to be done. That was 10 years ago and I am fine.

Hi, I recently had a doppler test at podiatry and was told I needed to be checked because the small veins are very poor blood flow and should be checked, GP said nothing will be done until very poor flow from main arteries and not to worry
