I have just had the strangest experience. I do have Raynaud's which started about 10 years ago and typically affects only my right hand.
It's a hot day but I am inside a cold house with window open - slight breeze - suddenly the main big knuckle of my index finger (MCP) some of the right of the index finger and a bit of my hand surrounding MCP joint went almost totally numb. I have other joint issues and wondered if it might be compressed nerve but after a few minutes I noticed the feeling coming back and the telltale bruise/redness appearing just like my white finger episodes.
Is it possible to get Raynaud's attacks in the hand not just fingers? this is a first for me.

Hi I have this to in my hand it makes thumb and index finger numb can last for hours. I also have raynauds in fingers, but this is different. I showed my rheumatologist she doesn’t know what it is. Have sent picture of my hand. Hopefully someone knows. Thanks
Yes I suffer this too, in my middle knuckle and index finger. Just thought it was part of Raynauds. The same thing happens with my toes, even when I am in the house in a warm room.
