Hi, has anyone tried Tadalafil for their raynaurds? I start mine later this week and have been reading the side effects. When is the best time to take them and do they actually work? Take care, XX

Hi, I've been on Tadanafil for a couple of years and tolerate it really well. I take it in the morning. I started on one every other day but take it daily now. It doesn't completely stop the attacks but helps to prevent ulcers and the pain after the attack. Good luck with starting it.

I was put on two Tadalafil every morning for pulmonary hypertension - and it also reduced the Reynauds. My understand is that one of the big problems is it drops your blood pressure so you might get lightheaded, dizzy or even black out. I haven't. My Reynauds wasn't super-bad - my fingers could get to mauve grey on a nearly daily basis, but I wasn't getting ulcers and I didn't have the rush of blood back into the fingers painful thing. These days I may get cold fingers, or tending to mauve on rare occasions, but never the grey look - and I am also being a bit less strict about glove wearing. Do wear gloves outdoors, but am wearing the fingerless ones indoors rather less.

I never get the typical change in colour, my fingers just go bright red. I get sores and ulcers in the winter, also can't tolerate heat in the summer! Not quite sure which is the worse. Thanks for your reply, take care, Xx

Think my biggest problem is that I read the side effects and then convince myself that I have them as soon as I swallow the tablet. Took my first one this morning, know it's early days but didn't have the instant burning that I had with sildenafil. Thanks for your reply, take care, Xx

I much prefer them to Sildinafil. I got headaches with them, but not with Tadanafil. Good luck xx

Dear KatieAnna. I get at least two digital ulcers a year. I would be grateful if you could tell me how many ulcers you got each winter before using Tadalafil. Best regards.

I used to get about 2 a year. Nothing since! Hope it works out well for you. X
