Any tips on how to check if you have a high temperature without a thermometer when you have Raynaud's and coronavirus symptoms? The NHS website does give some advice but it doesn't work for me because of my Raynaud's. I genuinely cannot tell

Raising my temperature....

Hi Daen,
I don't think there is an easy answer to this. The temperature difference between normal & fever over 37.8 for Coronavirus is only about 1-1.5 degrees & that's not going to be easy to measure if you can't tell yourself because of your Raynauds.
Best I can think of is to try to purchase a basic forehead strip thermometer online, but you may feel better before it arrives unless you can get it with an online shopping delivery. Alternatively do you know anyone who could purchase one for you & post through your letter box?
Sorry I couldn't be of more help & do take care of yourself. Hoping you feel better soon 🤞

Just to add to the joys of the situation I take a regular medication which gives me a raised temperature anyway.... oh the joys of life! :D!
I take Diltiazem for mine as it is effecting my lungs producing pulmonary vasospasms which makes me chronically short of breath in either hot or cold conditions.
4 weeks ago I started to get hot flushes. I'm 50 so assumed these were the start of menopausal hot flushes. Two weeks ago I stopped the Diltiazem for a week when I remembered this was a possible side effect.
It had no effect on the flushes, but my breathing became laboured. I've restarted again now. The last thing you want right now is to be hot & sweaty with breathing difficulties in a public place!🤔 Tee-hee
Take care,
Sarah x
