Hi had white fingers for years but recently been worse and turning black only affecting one side, I also have hand arthritis, fingers are getting worse have no energy and find it difficult to walk as I’m in so much pain, went to drs and said it was Raynaud’s phenomenon and put other symptoms down to arthritis, gave me prescription for nefedipine but seemingly it’s been discontinued, any thoughts

I have secondary raynauds to scleroderma. I have found no medication that really helps me. However Prozac is a treatment as is sildenafil (viagra). It's worth going back to the drs to ask, and also to ask for a blood test called ANA, just to check that the raynauds isn't caused by something else.

Hi Sixtiesmod , I've just seen your post, so you may have sorted this already. But I've been on Nifedipine for a few years since Adalat was discontinued, and now it seems that Adalat is back so the pharmacy is giving me that again. Both meds have made some difference , but I still get symptoms with cold weather.
