Mobility Issues

Firstly I want to thank every single person who took the time to respond to my previous post regarding my horrid doctor, it meant more than you know and gave me the kick that i needed.

I have been out and tried a variety of scooters and wheel chairs and now know exactly what I need. Despite her completely knocking my confidence I have to remember that its my life, not hers and I have to do whats right for me. So in the not to distant future I will be whizzing around everywhere in comfort.

Whilst I wait for my wheels to arrive I will be making a formal complaint about this new doctor. My previous doctor was lovely and knew I would not have made this decision lightly and would’ve supported me wholeheartedly, so its horrible her being replaced by a very young inexperienced doctor fresh out if medical school who clearly has no understanding of serious issues.

Onwards and upwards peeps.

Hi PickledGinger, good for you, enjoy your freedom, no one should be treated the way you were treated. Sometimes doctors need to made aware that their attitude towards patients can have a detrimental effect on patients. May you make happy memories whizzing around, take care xx
