Just had hand and wrist ultrasound and found no joint issues despite being very swollen in fingers (and completely numb) and wrists but did find significant tendon thickening and hardening in both hands. Sent for these tests as was in “grey area” for scleroderma so any ideas what the results mean?? I don’t have an actual apt with consultant till Feb 2020!!! I’m having dreadful pain and discomfort in hands and shoulders and knees lock and feel tight and ankles starting to tighten and feel painful! 😔 not slept for weeks as much worse at night. Thoughts please xx

that is no fun. I have CRPS with my scleraderma and horrible raynauds and when I get ulcers the pain at night is so bad I can't sleep. Sitting up helps, as does lidocaine patches. I am sorry there is no clear cut answers and you have to wait so long for a specialists. Does a warm pack help at all or CBD or other essential oils. trying to think of natural remedies that "help" until you can see the specialist.

Are you able to see a private rheumatologist earlier than Feb 2020? That is a crazy long amount of time to wait to get urgent care.

I know!! My nurse specialist has said she will try and speak to him and get an appointment sooner 🤞🏻I just can’t manage these symptoms and feel so tired 😞 xx
