Have you had experience with autoimmun protocol? I am reading about it everywhere, especially in the US seems to be a big success (?!)… this is my question about, basically. Have you tried it, do you keep it constantly, did it help somehow?
As mentioned earlier, I am just been diagnozed with scleroderma (capillar microsopy + blood test) all the remaining "fun" is outstanding… Have raynaud since more than 12 years (the time my doctor said, that was ok), todays sometime tired and hair loss, not sleeping well, sweating…. Seems I am luckier then the most.(?)… Of course, still shocked when I see the photos if I am searching for answers in the web...
To summarize, I would really happy to be able to keep the same status at least, thus I wonder if changing your diet / Lifestyle … whatsoever helped you to at least slow a little the process…
Thank you all

My 15 year old son is following the AIP diet. He has Mixed Connective Tissue disease. Since changing his diet he has come off all medications and is really well. We’ve managed to reintroduce a few foods but not many. Reintroduction of food often causes a flare so we are very restricted. He takes some supplements along side his diet to ensure he is getting everything he needs. Would definitely recommend it. X
That is exactly how I felt. My son had a terrible condition that I felt was totally out of our control. He relied on very toxic medications with lots of side effects and he still felt rubbish a lot of the time. Now he is off medication, and feels really well. He was 10 years old when diagnosed and 12 when we started to change his diet. Within days of changing his diet he started putting weight on again and feeling loads better. And I felt like we had regained control. Good luck. I would love to hear how you get on. There is a Facebook community “AIP n the UK” you can join to get support and ideas for recipes etc. X
