Transport help

Hey all so my oh is in a bad way has hurt his foot bed bound but has an app next week. We have no car, and public transport is not an option ( not the way he is feeling) cab there and back too much money.

Is there any other support I could get? Apply for? That’s if no one in the family can Lend me a car

Do you have voluntary car service in your area, maybe speak to GP surgery or hospital for advice

If its for hospital in England they should be able to request transport via the contract with G4S. Otherwise as bookworm says there may be voluntary service available. Where I live as well as hospital based volunteers the red cross and my parish council have volunteer drivers as does my local church.
