Meloxicam

I’ve been prescribed MELOXICAM and just read the leaflet, there’s quite a lot of side effects. I would love to hear from you if your on this and hear how you have managed. Many thanks

Hi, I take it when my joints are very painful (when the patches and hydroxychloroquine) are not enough. I find it very useful, but I don't take it for long as it increases my reflux. You shouldn't take it on an empty stomach. No other side effects.

Thank you for your reply. I’m on hydroxychloroquine too so hopefully this will help with the pain

I was prescribed it at an early rheumy appt. the consultant hadn’t taken into account I’m on 4 omenprazole as it is and never touch any kind of NSAID. My GP agreed with me.
