Fish Oil
Hi there, as far as I know. Fish oil is just a dietary supplement and something that you would normally get from food anyway. It will have no impact on your prednisolone and possibly a beneficial effect on your overall bone health.

Hi, I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question. However if it turns out that you cannot take fish oil then I can recommend ZipVit's "Omega 3,6, & 9" capsules which are vegetarian and are made from flax seed, sunflower, sesame and primrose oil. I have used these for many years, I take one with Breakfast and one with Tea. There are also other vegetarian options available, such as Flax Seed Capsules, but I prefer the broader range capsule I use. Here is the link:

By the way, my husband uses Krill oil, instead of Cod Liver Oil. It has proven to be more effective for his aching joints. His takes a 500mg strength tablet which he takes four times a day. We buy ours from Healthspan:

Hope you find a solution quickly.
Prednisone is something you should never be in long term. It has horrible side effects. Fish oil is ok, I guess. Just make sure it’s made as naturally as possible. Eat a lot of salmon. That would be better for you , or anything that is high in omega 3’s.
