Alternative advice..

Hey Everyone

Just a quickie I was in hospital about 7 weeks ago with a suspected Heart Attack due to the Systemic Sclerosis and a reaction to 1 MMF tablet.. I havent had meds since then Im back seeing my nurse tomorrow can anyone advise to what meds to ask about etc..

My head is absolutly mashed by looking on the net for alternatives and Im struggling to deal with symptoms..

Hello there, they are likely to want to see if there are other immunosuppressants that you can take rather than MMF. This is only one of many options. Ask for clear explanations about the medications they are suggesting and a leaflet for you to take home and read. They may use symptom control medications such as steroids or anti-inflammatories. Just keep asking questions and if you don't understand what they are saying ask again. Take a trusted other person with you as two heads are always better than one. When you are upset or stressed it is really hard to take in any information.
