My index finger spasem at the tip in june and since has developed an ulcer, advice as i am seeing a surgeon this friday

the ulcer is at the tip of my index finger and under my nail, all i want is a noghts sleep and a day free from painkillers, has this happened to anyone on here and if so what was the treatment and outcome please! I am getting nervous

Yes I have had one like that as well. Keep it covered with gauze after you place neosporin on it because once it gets under the nail bed it can easily get infected if it starts to pain very badly where you cant bend or barely touch your finger then its time to see a doctor for antibiotics.

Hey thanks for the advice, have already had 3 courses of antibiotics at different times so all sorted there, think i might loose the nail?

When I had it I realised that it needs urgent treatment: Antibiotics and Iloprost.
