my d.t teacher recommended this as it apparently slightly warms the hands and keeps them clean...has anyone used this? if so, what happened??
neutrogena cream....: my d.t teacher... - Scleroderma & Ray...
neutrogena cream....
Sorry but I don't beleive this be true, I hv used many different hand and nail creams due to my job in engineering and neutrogena is good for dryness of hands but as for keeping hands cleaner most hand creams and barrier creams do too, if it works for you though don't knock it. x
Neutrogena cream is very good at keeping the hands soft but I never noticed that my hands were warm. Since having Scleroderma I find that Doublebase Gel is very good too. I get it on prescription from my doctor.
ok, thanks guys, ill see what the rheumatologist says 1st
Hello Littlemissshy,
I have never used Neutrogena but I have heard it's a good product. Try it abd see how it works for you. Good luck!
Neutrogena is a good moisturiser, not too sure about the 'warming' side of things. For warming benefits I tend to find using 'Dead Sea Salt' products or aromatherapy creams with 'Ginger' or 'Black Pepper' work better. Still it doesn't hurt to experiment & find what works for you.
thats great thanks!
I used to use the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair for about 1 month and go no real lasting results. It just did not work. My dermatologist instead recommended the Somaluxe Rapid Line Filler (it was about $5 more expensive than Neutrogena), but WORTH IT.
Looking in the mirror each day I felt that I really could tell a difference using the Somaluxe Rapid Line Filler. I have been using it for two weeks now, and my wrinkle lines have filled in. Im sorry - i really wanted to like Neutrogena, but for $5 more, you can actually get a product that works and the results last longer.
