Smartphone with ultra sensitive screen even with gloves on.

I remember someone asking about smartphones and which was best for raynaud's suffers, well due to my long lasting sony phone finally giving up I had to upgrade, this has involved a long internet search for a suitable replacement.

I decided that it was time to have a smart phone and eventually the search led me to the Nokia lumia 720, which is a recent release and runs windows 8 as it's operating system. Their website stated that it was possible to use it with gloves on. I was a little sceptical but decided to take the plunge and ordered a sim free version, it arrived and I can now confirm that the ultra sensitive touch screen does work with gloves on I have tried it wearing different types of gloves silver, leather and latex.

It has the added advantage that, with the purchase of wireless charging shell and wireless charger, that you do not have to plug anything in to charge it, ideal for those having trouble with their dexterity.

Visually it is clear and I found it easy to set up and sync with my windows 8 laptop.

Hope this is useful to someone

There are gloves available especially for smart phones etc. They have some sort of conductive fibre in the finger tips. My husband uses a stylus as his hands lack dexterity now.

Also, I was at a craft expo, and I saw a stall selling the conductive fibre, so you could sew it into your own gloves. Hope this helps?
