Hi I'm new to this community. I looking for some ways and tips to stay asleep. I fall asleep within 10 to 15 minutes . But wake up after 3 hours snd then struggle to sleep again.
Any suggestions, recommendations would be appreciated.

I have the same issue. Melatonin helps me. The long lasting one. I only take it for a few weeks. Then stop.
Melatonin never helped for me, have you taken a couple of paracetamol when you wake up, after 3 hours sleep?
The starting question is what supplements you are taking. Being deficient in things can cause a problem with sleep maintenance. I am a great fan of melatonin, but I would not start with it as it would conceal other problems which should be fixed first.

All of these things are slightly complicated. Melatonin in my experience is really good for getting me back to sleep, but taking it before bed does not help. Hence if you are taking Melatonin say at 8pm I would not think it would help with sleep maintenance. Normal melatonin has a half life in blood serum of about 30 mins so it fades quite quickly.
Download insight timer app and listen to some of the sleep meditation tracks when you wake up. And make sure that you get enough exercise and sunlight during the day. And supplement with Vitamin D and K2 in winter, or if you can't.
Have you tried taurine, magnesium threonate, or magnesium glyinate? I had the same problem & found these supplements helped a lot, also zinc can help some.
