It must be good to get at least 5 hours sleep!

I have a few health issues and take medication daily but its the lack of a full night's sleep which doesn't help. When I go to bed I have no trouble falling over to sleep but wake up after 20 - 45 minutes often due to jumping legs but not always. I get up and make numerous cups of tea and fill yet another hot water bottle and try and find something to occupy me around house I can do quietly e.g. tidy a cupboard, dust or even ironing. I sometimes watch TV in the hope it will make me sleepy. I do try and go back to bed several times but normally end up getting up. I find around 6am is when I can eventually fall over and get a couple of hours sleep. My GP prescribed a mild sedative to take about an hour before I go to bed even when I've taken 2 tablets they have had no effect. Tried hot milky drinks, lavender oil sleep sprays etc. My family even got me a new mattress. Anyone else have this problem?
