Melatonin and CBD
I wonder for those living in UK if anyone has experience of sourcing melatonin from Poland and any recommendations?
As my insomnia is so bad now and no help from GP I was also considering CBD. Any advice would be great
Thanks

I live in UK. Melatonin IS available on prescription so he should let you try it. It didnt do anything for me. Unfortunately my son at weekends smokes weed and sleeps well. Not sure about CBD oil.
Sadly in my area they won’t prescribe. Have to be referred to an insomnia clinic
I bought melatonin off the internet only low dose 1mg as high doses can stop your body producing it's own melatonin so doses higher than 3mg be careful. I have delayed sleep phase disorder DSPD so I took it to try to get yo sleep before 4am every night. and for that you need to take it 4 to 6 hours before you want to sleep..i found it helped slightly some nights but not really. I believe circadin is the prescribed nhs one but desoite suffering this sleep disorder my gp refuses to prescribe it until I'm 55..im 51 but he still wouldn't. I bought cbd but because you must leave a 4 gap between the meds I'm on I couldn't take it til 2am which pretty much defeats the object of wanting an earlier bed time...worth a go both of them if your normal sleep pattern is early to bed..mine was early to bed early to rise til 7 years ago when menopause started and my fall asleep time became 4 am 😣
I took 3mg of Melatonin (available over the counter in the Gulf) for about 6 months. It worked for about 10 weeks but tailed off after that. I found that mindfulness meditation works better than any meds as it adjusts my way of thinking. I rarely stress about lack of sleep now and find that I sleep much better
