Hi, my father is 77 and recently had 2 stents inserted. He has been home for 1 week but is constantly sleeping (Not soundly). He mostly sleeps sitting upright in a chair as he says lying down affects his breathing. Is this normal?

Do you know what medication he is on ? James
Hi jsamess, he's on furosemide, lansoprazole, ticagrelor, bisoprolol and a clenil modulite pump spray. He was also on artovastatin and ramipril but the doctor recommended pausing these for a few days to see if it helps with his diarrhea. He now has very poor bladder control.
thanks .I can ask somebody who has had a recent operation the same as your dad . he is a similar age . have you checked Google to see what the side effects are for these medicines? James
