Hi my name is sue and i have angina and find it difficult to sleep. I think this could be because of my life, i work 2 nights a week in a nursing home and i also foster two young children. I suffer with stress and anxiety and I would love to have a night where i sleep more than a couple of hours at a time. I have tried relaxation, meditation having a bath and reading a book. next thing to try is sleeping tablets, but with 2 kids i dont want to go that route.

I’m sure you take you GTN. It sounds like a anxiety problem. I have angina and tinnitus.

Angina not that often after having a stent put in my heart. Have you had a angiogram?

Sounds like you need one.

Don’t have any caffeine after 4;30pm.

You can buy relaxation CDs or free apps.

You might need sleeping tablets just for 2 or 3 weeks, to get you out of the bad cycle.

Good luck , I’ve been there.

Everything you described are all sleep killers. I would definitely try to get different shifts other than those two night shifts.
