Couch to 5K

I've been running for 10 weeks and have graduated from the excellent couch to 5k program. My Fitbit told me my average sleep had increased by 25 minutes per night which is a massive bonus. I have started taking Melatonin at 8pm every night and getting into bed at 9 to 9.30PM. I have no issue going to sleep my problem was waking up after 4 hours and then getting frustrated trying to go back to sleep. These last few weeks I'm still waking up after 4 hours but I'm finding it much easier to go back to sleep. I even had a 6.5 hour unbroken sleep the other day which is VERY unusual for me. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it the physical and mental benefits are immense and the forum has some of the nicest most supportive people I've ever "met" anywhere.

Congrats on the cough to 5k. I’ve always said I’d try it but never follow through, you inspire me to think about it again.

Give it a go, I promise that you will feel great about starting it. I was an overweight smoker with terrible sleep problems just 3 months ago, now I'm running for at least 30 minutes 3 times a week and have never felt better. It's genuinely one of the best things I have ever done for myself. The forum on here is incredibly supportive.
