If yes, let us know about the positive effects. Thru the years I've been Hypnotized to help with high blood pressure, an emotional divorce and more. It worked each time.
Of course we have to be aware of individual differences. My body has rejected dozens of meds.
The HMO found someone with experience in Hypnosis, after a 2 yr search. She avoids it and says she doesn't think it will work since I'm so resistant to going out in the world while suffering with anxiety, panic and physical ailments.

I do have some hypnotherapy CDs. I used them a lot of times years ago and they were very helpful. I occasionally listen to them now. Mostly when I am feeling down or not sleeping well. They don't seem to work as well as they did then. Hypnotherapy is well worth a try.
Life does change us. What worked back in the day, doesn't always work today.
Now counseling with a Psychologist has become Therapy with a Social Worker or whoever the HMO can find to give up their practice to work for them using Hypnosis.
It's not the Hypnotherapy that used to work for me. It's more 20 min. of guided imagery, every couple of months.
