Narrow Angle Glaucoma

Hiya all, I'm just wondering if anyone else ever suffered from Narrow Angle Glaucoma? I went for a routine eye check up & now I'm being referred to a specialist.

I have had eye pain, vision problems for a while but I put it down to Trigeminal Neuralgia, but I was wrong.

Just seems to be one thing after another at the moment..

Anyhow, I look forward to hearing from you..

Hi Leigh,

10 years ago before being diagnosed with APS-Lupus-RA now Sjogren's, getting my eyes checked for new glasses I was told to see eye specialist. I had closed narrow angles. I had a laser Iridotomy emergency done, which creates a small hole in the iris to allow fluid to drain again. This is why its closed (narrow angle closer)and fluid backs up and causes pressure in your eyes and that's not Good. I was told NEVER use Visine eye drops or have my pupils dilated Unless done by eye specialist. Only use eye drops that are for Lasik surgery moisturizing Lubricant, some even have Omega 3.

I had no idea or symptoms, only my vision was getting bad. Hope this helps you.
