How do bedwetters tell their loved ones they have to wear diapers and plastic pants to bed?

I was wondering if any bedwetters here who wear pin-on cloth diapers and plastic pants here have children/teenagers and if so how did you tell them you have to wear diapers and plastic pants to bed? What about significant others?

I am not a bedwetter, but I think this is a very individual thing as you have to consider the personalities and ages of the people involved in each situation. If you have a very understanding and loving partner, this may not be as difficult as it is for others who may not have that. Children should be old enough and mature enough to understand medical conditions and have the empathy to understand the situation.
