Here's a new take on adult diapers. Bright and bold colors! These were just introduced to the US market.

Many things they miss with likes of disposables! One would be "Zoning"

So create zones/areas/borders/whatever they like to term where by it's set up in sections like a frontal part/mid/rear plus sides so once wet it all can't clump in one area at bottom as often once a bit wet it all just slumps down leaving front/sides/rear with nothing to absorb with.

But with many things there just turning the wheel round and round but going no where fast!

They could also add a mesh in layer to keep in place.

Also longer tapes maybe three a side instead of two?

Turned edges so don't leak from them?

They could also even have styles/types? with male/female as wetness is mostly in slightly different areas.Ones for Bladder-Bowel or both so ie if bladder issues a male would want most high front to low middle

But much more thought and consideration should be put into reuseables over disposables and they could be improved on for wearers also with likes of daytime with adjustable band at top to can tighten to keep up if prone to sliding down on some people.

more input into more absorbent materials esp for daytime wearing

Ones for night wear made wider/higher and especially have the sides wrap round a lot further so covered but also fastened securely

What's your reaction to having color choices instead of institutional white or gray?

in reply to incon1982

Hi well like most things once on don't make any difference if Sky Blue or Ginger Pink as they used to say!

But there not anything new as been out in so many colours/patterns for years.

Can have with flowers/trucks/cartoons you name it.

Think too many get hung up about it and it's not like your going to be parading around in it?

If worried that they look white/Blue etc just wear a cover over it job done!

Myself i'd be more into worrying it going to be comfortable/work ok.

Not going to be like. I laughed so much the tears ran down my legs! type episode.

My first thought is if they're a quality brief and do their job I could care less (within reason) what it looks like on the outside.

Mike, Yes, the briefs have to contain the leaks first and foremost. But if they did a great job at that AND were more fashionable it would be an added bonus. Many people told us that they were struggling emotionally dealing with their incontinence and that wearing clinical looking briefs added to their anxiety and/or depression. For others that have accepted their condition and are ok with white briefs, just seeing that they have a choice opens up some emotions they didn't realize were bothering them so much and allows them to better feel accepted by society. We'd love to send you samples to test out. We have the Supreme Lite absorbency now and will have Supreme absorbency in the fall as well. You really have to see them in person to understand how different they are than traditonal colored briefs. Just complete form at northshore.com/samples

Love to hear your feedback when you get a chance!

I have a question for everyone. When I was around special ed kids in grade school, it was obvious when the kids messed. it smelled immediately and they were whisked away to change. they were the bad briefs of the 80s - pulp not odor control and no leak barriers. To what extent do you think people smell my bowel movements even with better briefs and gary pants. I often make a little mess and cannot smell it at all. BUt I often have diarea too. What do you think? Do you take nullo.

Even if no one can smell it (and yes, nullo is supposed to help), you should change your products as soon as you possible can. Keeping urine or feces next to your skin is extremely damaging to it. You don't want to set yourself up for skin breakdown and infection.

I like having a choice even though I usually wear all-white clinical looking diapers. However when I get down a bit about having to wear diapers the colored ones do cheer me up a bit. Before I became incontinent I had several colors of regular underwear so I don't see why my diapers should be any different.

I got a mixed case and it’s a nice touch. I’m the only one that sees them so I don’t have to look at the boring colors for a change. Nice touch Northshore. Always and excellent product and customer reps.

I got a mixed case too. They work pretty well and are something better to look at when getting dressed or changed than just white.

Whatever cheers you up must be good. I have always had white except I do have a pair of pink fixation knickers that were washed with a red sweater.

Now that brought a smile to my face!!

I bought a case and use them to work. They contain bowel loss and feel good on. I like how one can't see what's inside. They can be rolled tightly and thrown away

I wear gary pants on top anyway and tuck my shirt into them.

These are a nice change to the typical white, I have found that the leak guards aren’t quite tall enough but the Northshore lights are probably the best at distributing the liquid and containing the smell along with not coming apart after wet making these stay comfortable the entire time you are wearing the product. They do leak out the bottom though from time to time. I really wish someone would make a Bree like Mulcair had about four years ago with a plastic metal and breathable sides these were by far the most comfortable brief I’ve ever worn especially on hot summer days
