Can anyone relate or share how to address issues I've had with SCT over the years?

Some people may find out late if they're not raised by their biological parents. I was raised by my paternal grandmother and did not find out I had the trait until I was 22 and pregnant with my first child. I only found out then because my niece was born during my pregnancy and with SCT. At that point we (my brother and I) contacted our maternal grandmother who confirmed that we both have SCT from our mother. This then explains why I suffered with some pain and breathing issues during my high school track and field days since I had no clue... It's a miracle I survived without great incident. But also now I am believed to have asthma and costachondritis which sound more like complications from SCT at this point.

My iron is low and I struggle with my breathing in extreme heat and after flights, especially when I travel to certain areas (high altitude). I must find the proper physician to ensure I live a longer, healthier life.

Anyone have insight as to what I've been experiencing?

I was raised by my biological parents but I never found out, neither did they.....untill recently. A lot of people with SCT don't have much complications so it's hard to know. But in reality we all have some complications at some point, my family finding out we have SCT has explained a lot of the questions we had, we get sick and the test shows nothing. Back pains, migraines, trouble with altitude etc....I think healthy balanced diet helps, eating foods rich in iron too. Getting frequently check ups. That way I believe we can have a healthy and long life like any normal person. Fighting!!

Been there, all of it, a Naturopath works wonders and CBD oil for pain pain free up to 8 hrs and stay hydrated very hydrated and no over exertion. Fond out what to eat for your blood type, lots of vitamin D, 8000 IUs and B12 shots, I get IV Treatments through my Naturopath, ALA( Alpha Lopoic Acid- to reduce the amount crises) & Glutothyione(for the Liver) once a month and a laundry list of Vitamins including Vitamin K and magnesium plus Biotin for the hair and nails. And if you gonna travel take a pain med to reduce the stress on your body. I've been suffering with it since I was a kid now I'm 40 and still affected terribly especially in the cold. Need any other tips, let me know
