Sickle cell and?

I have sickle cell disease and just found out I have chronic fatigue syndrome also called ME. I wanted to find out what other conditions people are dealing with plus sickle cell and how you cope. I have 3 children so I guess you will have an idea as to how I am struggling to cope.

I have sickle cell and a few other conditions, which are sickle related. Plus I have another blood condition. I'm in pain daily and fatigued due to my other condition, so I understand that's a battle in itself, yet alone having 3 children. I've been in your situation, although mine are teenagers and young adults now. Its knowing your limits, and giving yourself a break. You probably put more pressure on yourself than anyone else, just because your a mum. and it doesn't help because others can be judgmental. But some household chores can be done another day, i used to cook enough food for two days so i could get a day off, or simplify my meals. what ever works best for you. As my children have got older its got easier. They may have at times had to do a little more than other children in terms of helping out, but they are life skills we should all learn.
