While endometrial cancer is the most common type of uterine cancer, not all cancers are the same and there are less common endometrial subtypes (uterine serous carcinoma, carcinosarcoma) and other uterine cancers such as sarcomas that can occur. These rarer cancers can be more aggressive and harder to treat. Join Dr. Nita Lee, gynecologic oncologist at the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center, and rare uterine cancer expert, as she delves into the most up-to-date treatments and research in this under-discussed area. Learn what you should know about your cancer type and what to discuss with your care team. Watch the video here: sharecancersupport.org/not-...

VIDEO NOW AVAILABLE from our recent webinar: Not All Uterine Cancer is the Same: What To Know About Rare Uterine Cancers
FOR ALL ENDOMETRIAL/UTERINE CANCER PATIENTS
This is an excellent webinar. I highly recommend bookmarking or taking snapshots of pages 6 through 8 of the slide show and bringing them to your doctor at your next appointment. Definitions and classifications have changed over the years, so it is good to ask where your cancer is on these charts. It's so important to know everything you can about your cancer because there are many treatment options and they keep changing as the science gets better. The more you know, the better you can advocate for yourself.
Merma That is a great suggestion! Also I wanted to mention that because we had so many questions that we didn't have the time to answer during this webinar, we're excited to announce that Dr. Nita Lee will be returning on Oct. 23 for a full-hour Q and A session on rare uterine cancers. Keep an eye on this page and all SHARE's social media for more info.
