Platinum Resistant Treatment Options

Hello, after several treatments over 6 years I have become platinum resistant, I am curious what others who are platinum resistant have received for treatment? Success of those treatments? Thanks in advance.

Please ask about targeted therapies- especially those that can be combined with chemotherapy to overcome platinum resistance. Possibly only available in trials .

I looked back through your history of texts and it looks like there are still a number of options that you haven’t had yet. For example Gemzat, topotecan to name two. You also may be a good candidate for a clinical trial that may give you access to some newer drugs that are showing some promise. There are several ways to find clinical trials. If you go on Share’s website (sharecancer.org) and look under tools and resources you will find a clinical trial matching service. It is free. Best wishes - gwen
