I would like to ask you, if you were diagnosed with late stage ovarian cancer, what wellness practices would you practice to try keep yourself from recurring?

Hello CharMyrdal

I have had reoccurrence 2 times now. Back taking Taxol and Avastin every week for 4 rounds now. I have been doing research and finding some very interesting things. Making sure my diet is right, drinking plenty of water. It seems that a lot of people want to be kind and offer suggestions about what to do. I pray that we will find a cure for cancer. I will remember your struggles.

I've been asking myself the same question. Things that improve your immune system like exercise and eating a lot of vegetables and fruits. Wondering if it all works. I guess moderation is true for everybody.

I eat organic, no alcohol, exercise daily and take circumin and Boswells. I’m also on Zejula to lengthen remission.

I'm interested in this question also. I am just finishing chemo from my first recurrence. I really don't want to keep taking drugs all my life. I'm planning to eliminate sugar from my diet. Drink lots of water and eat vegan with fish. Ask me five years from now how it worked!

I just had surgery for my first reoccurrence after 3 years. Once was enough for me and now I find myself angry and depressed. I'm tired of helping others by telling them I'm feeling better every day, I spent the weekend in the hospital with blood clots and fluid on the lung. Cancer sucks

That so hard to answer. Cause each of us are different. But they say a clean plant base alkalinity Diet keeps cancer from growing. What we have is a Chronic illness just like diabetes We just have to find the right foods and meds to keep out in remission. We will always have it. Until a cure is found. A Macrobiotic diet is a great one to follow as much as you can. Starve the cancer feed the body. A 16/8 is good for cleansing your liver and kidney Fast 16 hours eat for 8. But eat good foods for 8

True. And that is intermittent fasting. I have also heard about this. And trying myself. Body feels so light after this.
