They say it is a borderline serous tumor
There are so many types of OC out there, it's very confusing. Some OCs start in the ovaries, some in the fallopian tubes or uterus, some start on the lining of the ovary, some inside. Some are clear-cell, some are dense... it's no wonder you're confused. Write out your questions, call your oncologist or nurse navigator, and make sure they don't get off the phone before giving you all the answers you need to feel confident. You're not alone. None of us are medical experts, but some of us become them by osmosis, and asking lots of questions and becoming PITAs to our doctors. Never apologize for having lots of questions. That's what they are there for, to keep you confident, strong and hopeful.
