Had first chemo treatment on April 30th - 8 long hours at the center. I slept that evening and most of the next 3 days. Experienced some tingling sensations and leg cramps that were pretty bad on the 3rd day. 7 days later my hair started breaking off and then day 10 it stared coming out by handfuls. The first week after treatment I had low energy and not much of an appetite. This week I’m almost functioning normal. It’s still an emotional roller coaster but I’m making. #thankful #grateful #blessed #determined

I have had two more rounds of Chemo since my last post. With second round I slept during most of the chemo treatment. Felt a little better that go around but labs showed low white count. Had to have shots to raise it back up. By my second chemo I had almost no hair left. By day 3 of second treatment it was all gone from every where. Third and last treatment was June 11. I was tired with this treatment and had some lower leg aches. And the heels of my feet go numb if I sit for too long. I again have low white blood count. Had issues with insurance covering the shots this time so I’ve had to quarantine and not be able to work due to numbers are so low.

I’m being scheduled for a pet scan in the next few weeks and then a plan will be made to move forward.

It hasn’t been as bad as I expected it to be but certainly not great. But I know I’m blessed!
