Last cycle

Hello everyone,I am very happy to say I am on my last cycle of chemo treatments!!! I did my 1st of last yesterday!!!I missed a couple of treatments they said I would make up at end,but my dr said there is no making up.my ca125 is below 2. I found out it is genetic. I pray it don't come back!!! But my dr used the word (when) it comes back.i have read on here of all the reacurances. I will live every day as it won't come back and if it does I will deal with it then.they will be monitoring me every 3 mths.

Congratulations Cynthia!!!!!!! I just finished my first treatment. They think mine is genetic too-will get results back soon. I also had breast cancer. So how are you feeling? I am actually pretty good after my first treatment but wondering how cumulative it is. Have you researched any lifestyle things to do that will help prevent recurrence? (For example, hard exercise gives a 30% chance decrease in a breast cancer coming back.) Also stuff like diet? I am going to see a nutritionist for advice on this I think. I will be in the same boat as you -worrying for the rest of my life. I wonder if there are not a lot of survivors out there just living their life and don't check in online so we are only hearing all the bad cases. My doc told me that there was a 70-80% chance it would never come back. Sorry to ramble-you don't have to answer if you don't want

Congratulations Cynthia on your last treatment. I too did my last chemo recently on July 7th. You are in my prayers for a full remission with no reoccurrences.. You just stay positive no matter what anyone says (doctor's included) , Your higher power is in charge not the doctors. . Blessings
