My story a must get book ππ
What is it about please?
I've just had a look at this on the good old internet, there are a few different ones but apparently all working on the same theme, according to the reviews I've read it's a book of questions that a mother answers to pass down her life experiences to her children/specifically daughter about her life and I believe her daughter then passes it on to her daughter etc. I've not found an English version yet so possibly an American book. Quite a nice idea if you have a daughter, which I don't but I do have daughters in law. How you doing Claire? β€οΈXx Jane
Im doing well thank you x. Was given chemo on Tuesday after a months break - bit nervous as to what may happen due to strokes but it went OK!. So far the anti nausea meds are working too which pleases me no end! Still spend most of my day in bed as still have no strength and get pains but I am speaking much better now. Well with an accent but at least I can speak!
I'm really pleased you're improving some. Keep up the good work and I hope the improvements continue for you. Lots of love and big gentle encouraging hugs β€οΈXx Jane
As Gilda used to say, "If it's not one thing, it's another." I'm so glad to hear you are improving.
Amazon has several similar books. I encourage you all to do something like this if you have kids. I had wanted to ask my Mother questions before she passed on and waited too late. With my Grandmother, we actually interviewed her and recorded it, so we actually still have her voice.
Love the recording your grandmother. I'm going try to find the book here in America. Sounds like it wil be great for my daughter. She's 41 and going through symptoms. I'm keeping journals for her. Sadly we live 2300 miles apart. We talk everyday and she will be out to visit next Wed can't wait hope I can find the book while she's here. We'll have our own small book club. π π
Thanks
Honrath
I live in the states as well. Amazon has the book and several similar to it.
