Hi I take Orserdu at first i also was constipated I was told to take Miralax everyday. It worked for me but as time went on I started getting too loose a bowel so i tryed every other day. Then every third day. Finally i stopped taking it all together. I was good for awhile normal movements but now they seem more loose again. I am also very gasy. Hope the Miralax works for you!

Uhoh. Oserdu is next for me. I am always loose and tend toward diarrhea. Some of the metastatic meds I have been on made me so gassy. It is a relief when I take a med that is constipating. I think I will have your trajectory. Good to know.

a good syrup that really works is lactulose. It is inert meaning your body can’t digest this sugar … but it does cause some gas so you may want to stay home while it works and then blast out all. Works fleet effectively when all bound up.

How have you been? I haven't been on here lately so I might have one of your great trips to NZ. I hope you are doing well.Orserdu has been treating me well after being on it for a year.

Take care.

I use stool sofener softgels, the drugstore brand and drink lots of fluids. Use 1-3 daily.

Hello! I started Orserdu about six weeks ago. It is my third line of treatment, after getting diagnosed with MBC in 2022. I have also been on Ibrance and Lynparza. I have tolerated most treatments pretty well, with minimal side effects. However, the constipation for me with Orserdu was really rough! I went for more than 10 days without being able to go to the bathroom. (Sorry too much information) I took two packets of MiraLAX a day and Colace. After a few days, this seemed to jump start things and help, but it was very painful to go. It took another good week or more after that though, before I felt like things were getting back to normal. I stopped taking anything for the constipation pretty quickly after I was able to have a few bowel movements and have since been fine. It does get better!

I have been on it for 5 months and it hasen't got better. I took Ducolax and got some relief. Helena

Since my gastrointerologist said I had polyps at the time, I have been on Metamucil generic ever since . Very little constipation. Some "gas" has been mentioned with Orserdu.
