New Med: Abraxane!!!!

Yep, another change. Enhertu was tolerable but did not see any improvement as expected. Now on round one (3 infusions) of Abraxane. So far ok. A great deal of tummy issues diarrhea etc and definitely hair loss!!! I cut my hair today ; tired of seeing it all over the house. lol I feel ok better than expected. I will keep you posted.

Sorry Enhertu didn't work well for you😣I seem to be doing well on it after four infusions.No progression and some slight improvement in bones and liver.

Hopefully this newest treatment will bring better results for you🙏🙏🙏

Sorry the last treatment did not serve you well. It is always a scary time when we have to try something else. Prayers going up for the new treatment to be successful. ❤️

I think this is similar to Paclitaxol which I am on now- session number 7 this week (cycle 3). I am feeling pretty well on it, with insomnia being the worst side effect ( I think from the steroids). I am praying it works- CAT scan due at the end of January. Hope Abraxane is good to you and does its job x

I'm so glad to see your post! Not that I'm happy about the Enhertu fail, but glad you're hanging in and fighting the good fight. Was concerned when a couple months went by with no update. Hopefully, Abraxane will be your magic elixir and you'll get a long time on it with manageable side effects.

So glad to hear from you. Sure hope that Abraxane is the one that works. Diarrhea is tough to deal with and I hope that as your body adjusts, it will disappear. 🙏 prayers for you. I am so happy to see your post and to know that you are still with us. I know there are a number of people on this board that were very concerned. Hopefully, this drug will kick your cancer out of the house. As my husband says that cancer isn’t paying any rent. So kick it out!❤️❤️❤️
