Ibrance
Ibrance has been a Godsend for me. Virtually no side effects. I hope it works as well for you. Hair loss happens in the first few months, but usually stops after that.
It’s pretty effective with few side effects, wishing you best of luck!
I started with ibrance. I got a couple of years out of it. It was a rough beginning for me, but eventually is all evened out and I didn't have many side effects. I'm on to xeloda now.
Hi Bonnie. Ibrance has been great for me. I had my six year anniversary on it in February. I did have hair thinning the first year, but it's completely back to normal. Otherwise, I haven't noticed many side effects - letrozole has been much tougher on me. Hope it's effective and comfortable for you to take.
Sending hugs
Susan
That's amazing. I've only been on Ibrance and Letrozole since October 2022, oncologist is pleased with response so far. Hope I have as much success as you have.Best wishes.

Hi.
I have been on Ibrance for about 17 months. No side effects other than low white blood cell counts and neutrophil counts (which apparently happen in something like 95% of those on Ibrance). I started at the 125 level but my oncologist felt the impact on my blood work was too intense, so we have continued to tinker with the dosage level. I am now at 75 mg daily for three weeks and then off for 2 weeks, and that seems to be doing just fine. After just 10 weeks on Ibrance, my tumor had shrunk perhaps 30%. I also get a Faslodex shot every 28 days.
I am so happy to see Aquadog/Susan say she has been on it for 6 years ---- I really hope that will be my success story as well!
I have had a good response with Ibrance and Femara. I have been on it for 5+ years, started at 125 mg and reduced to 100 MG a few years ago. At first I had some hair thinning, that has since settled. Now, the only issue I rrally deal with is the diarrhea. I don't feel great days 3-5 of the cycle (a little achy, like the day before you get a cold), and have constant diarrhea. But, I am able to work and run with 3 active kids, and have been NED for 4+ years.
