Heartening? That article about how/why some breast cancers resist AI and chemo, and have shifting checkpoints that defeat immunotherapy, is pretty disheartening. (Of course, I immediately thought, "That's what I have!" -- although I actually may not.) I was just reading this week how genomic tests can tell whether immunotherapy is promising, by looking at biomarkers, as well as looking at mutations to tell which usual treatments might work. -- The biochemistry of this is getting beyond my capacity.
