Quick question. I’m on gemcitabine - I/v chemo. My latest bloods show haemoglobin and platelets too low to treat. Again. So I’m back in the wings, until they rise. So frustrating.
has anyone else experienced this.? How did you get them back up? And how long did it take?
Sister/Warrior don't worry. 15 years ago my treatment had to be delayed 3 times. My Dr. gave me Neulasta, and in a around 10 days I resumed treatment.😇
I am going through the same thing right now. I have been given red blood cells and platelets. I am going to see the doc soon. The dose will probably be lowered. I have only had one transfusion. I also had a brain bleed
2nd line of treatment 
End of third week into week off.
