I am new here.
Welcome to this site! Good to know that your latest scan was positive. Fatigue is certainly a common problem for most people with MBS on this site. I find making myself go for a daily 30 minute walk helps. It also has benefits for my stiff joints.
Regards,
Cindy
Welcome! That is good news! Fatigue is an issue that many of us deal with. It’s all about realizing your limits and resting as needed.
Welcome and glad you found us. This is a wealth of info that will help you. Good news from your scan. Yippee! Fatigue is a very common problem and you already have good advice about that. A daily walk is 30. Even if it isn't 30 mins. at first.
Cheers, June S.
Congratulations! 🎉🥳 Drink lots of water & make yourself get up & out. Fresh air & sunshine was what I was told. If that doesn't help, if you're too fatigued, just sleep it off. Mine comes & goes.
Welcome! Fatigue is always a part of cancer treatment... unfortunately. I get a monthly B12 shot. It seems to help.
Howdy! Welcome to the group. My fatigue seems worst at the end of the 21 day Ibrance cycle, but can pop up from time to time. Being active seems to help yet cleaning the house seems to cause even more fatigue. At least that's what I tell my hubby. 😉
welcome! I was so glad to have found this group at the beginning of 2022 and I know you will be too.
Lots of experience to learn from, questions answered, fears relieved…
All the best to you.

Welcome to the group no one wants to qualify for! I don't know if you've heard this, but your age means that your cancer cells are probably much less active and aggressive than if you were younger. I',m 76 and never sure how my fatigue is from cancer and how much is age. I was diagnosed with MBC from the beginninng, the month I turned 58. If I remember correctly, the initial fatigue lesseened after a few months. My coping included learning all I could about BC and MBC. That good scan bodes well for you, too. A good initial response to treatment, like this, is hopeful. Where in Texas are you? The San Antonio BC Symposium, held each Oct., is the top bc conference in the US, attended by bc oncs, researchers, patient advocates I went one year and it was an incredible experience. The Texas BC Coalition is very active, one of most active in the country.
Hello _ I am also new to this site. I found it by accident this past summer. I am fascianted by cases such as yours. 14 years MBC? Would you care to share your journey? I was diagnosed first stage ER/PR+/HER2- in January of the year I turned 60. I have masectomy, chemo, and been on Aristrole for four years when the cancer returned to my bones. Now on CDK 4/6 Verzenios/Fulvestrant. I am wondering how to prolong this treatment. Seems so random. What would be your advice? How did you go 14 years so far as MBC? Thank you,
I was diagnosed with MBC from the beginning, E+ P+ her2neu-. I got almost 5 years from Letrozole (very similar to Anastrozole ) along with Zometa for the "extensive" bone mets. Next was Faslodex (Fulvestrant) which worked well for over 9 years. Now I'm on Exemestane and Xgeva. Next 3/1 will be my 19 year anniversary. Why have I done so well? Possibly genetics....several relatives on my father's side of my family have done exceptionally well with other cancers. Maybe pure dumb luck.
