Beautiful! Keep it up!

Just beautiful and a great achievement, especially in this heat. Not sure I can manage mountains now so I appreciate the lovely picture.

On a clear day I can see the Lakes across the water.

Enjoy your Summer Lesh

We did have many stops on the way up for me to catch my breath on the steeper bits ! There is a longer easier route but we took the shorter steeper route ( crazy !!) which meant we had to ‘scramble ‘(using our hands! ) up some rocks a couple of times . But well worth the views ! Must be lovely to see the lakes in the distance from Anglesey !

Enjoy your summer ! x

Stunning, and you can see the paths. You did the right thing choosing the shorter steep path. Longer kills from what I remember.

I love a scramble, my favourite kind of mountain climb.

You will have great memories of that day for a long time to come

So gorgeous. I’ve been to Windermere and other lakes in that area, the names of which I don’t remember 50 years later. So glad you’re feeling well enough to enjoy this amazing part of the world. Brava!

We also went to lake Ulswater ( Pooley Bridge and Glenridding/ Aira Falls) and lake Coniston ( see pic below taken from a boat we hired on the lake ) , as well as Lake Derwentwater/Keswick . All were beautiful in the sun ! I hope it brings back some good memories x

Oh yes: Derwentwater and Keswick! I remember being given slabs of something very minty called I think Kendal cake to eat while hiking. It was glorious - not the mint cake so much but the nature and hiking. I’m so happy for you and yes it does bring back great memories - also of my first love. ❤️

Lovely! I told my husband I really NEED to get away somewhere special this summer but we just haven’t managed to organize anything (though we did take a weekend trip to catch up with our son). Now we’re already in August I fear we’ve left it too late! I love to see others pics though. This is beautiful

I love that part of the world! Windermere etc! Been years but loved it. Good for you! I had a burst of good health this week two and climbed up Penobscot Mtn just to swim access a glacial formed kettle pond near the top called Sargent Pond in Acadia National Park. It was 45 min climb up stone steps! Feeling so well

Wow! What a stunning view and a great reward for your hike. I was hiking through Heathrow airport yesterday for my appointment tomorrow with the surgeon. 😬 There were no delays and I got through immigration in record time with no queues - a bit like your hike! 😂

Thank you Lesh. The BBC news this morning focused on the huge backlog and current delays in receiving cancer treatment. Currently about twenty five percent of all (not just cancer) operations are self funded ie. paid for privately or via a financial package. I was shocked to learn this given the amount we pay in National Insurance contributions!I have had this lump since early June. Since I’ve learnt it was triple negative I just want it gone! I have my🤞 for tomorrow. 😬
