Because of the sharing and caring on a daily basis, we are strengthened, each one of us. I have learned from so many of you from our combined pool of knowledge and experience that I face the professionals with a certain amount of confidence that I would not have gained from anywhere else.
On Wednesday, 20 July, I will be at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC receiving another ablation(s)in my liver. I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to get the little buggers zapped by a wonderful Interventional Radiologist. If any of you want her name, please contact me in the chat room. She is worth knowing.

You are so right! I don't know where I'd be without you wonderful people. Thank you for all the kindness, love, and sharing of experiences.
By the way does anyone know of a similar forum for young people with bowel cancer? A young lady I know, aged 25, has just been diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer, it has spread to liver. So sad. Anyway I looked on Health Unlocked and couldn't see anything whatever for bowel cancer. Does anyone know?

The women(men) who have MBC are the strongest I have ever met. Most go through ups and downs constantly. You all ride this wave with strength, determination, humor and grace. We all hold on to our treatments, to be the one that gives us longevity. We rejoice when new treatments get accepted to our countries. We are indeed warriors of our lives and warriors to constantly bring each other up on those low times 💪. I often wonder why we were the ones that breast cancer went another way to MBC? As nobody knows why this happens.
Everyday I wake up grateful for another day on earth. A day to spend with my family and friends. To watch my teenagers walk through their lives growing and learning.
Somedays are challenging and we cry, dealing with the unfairness, try not to fear the scans or the aches and pains we didn't have last week. Trying not to let our brains go on the google hunt on diagnosis and just learn to live the present moment and keep moving forward.
The trick is to not let it all overwhelm you and remember who you are !! You are not CANCER !!! You are a WARRIOR
I agree. Due to reading posts from others I had the confidence to suggest to my onc to reduce my Ibrance dosage since my scans have been good, he agreed. I’m hoping this change will allow some side effects to abate. Thanks ladies all!
