I hope my roses will make all of you smile and forget for a moment all the struggles you going through. I have many more pictures of different roses, but could post only one picture.
Btw the photos were taken by my husband as I’m wheelchair bound and can’t get to most of rose bushes.
Still enjoying them cut in the base wishing you all the best!

Hi! I continue to feel so bad for you being in a wheel chair and wonder how you are doing. Will you continue to need the chair or is there any chance that you might be able to get out of it sometimes? That is probably a very stupid question and I am sorry It may be my wixhful thinking taking over. Thank you for the pictures of the beautiful roses. I can almost smell them.XXX OOO
hi Polina. wow.....absolutely gorgeous🌺. I too am a fan of flowers and garden. and roses are one of my favorites. while I love the pink, I have to say that orange is unique and so beautiful.
we are somewhat 'spine sisters' as I'm pretty sure you remember.....meaning we both share the challenges of being immobile and enduring our loss of independence. so you hold a special place in my❤️. i am happy for you that your husband is so caring and supportive.
I spent most of covid in a 5th floor apartment with zero green space. I moved into a rental house back in the fall and was determined I would not be stuck inside again all summer, like the past couple years. so I am in the midst of turning my 'green space' into a little oasis of sorts. I have a very private back yard that already had perennials and wild flowers...and I have been adding annuals as well. I pick out the flowers and my roommate and sister plant. not a bad deal...lol. of course I would rather do myself but lucky/thankful to have the help. also have a cute little covered patio. nice to not feel so trapped😊. since I can't go to the mountain, I am trying to bring the mountain to me....lol.
hope you are doing as well as possible. it's not easy. and thanks again for sharing your beautiful roses....they def made me smile!
Dear Carole, my “spine sister”, I’m so happy that you now have the “green space”. It’s so important for our well-being. Enjoy it! Thinking of you often and sending you a big hug❣️❣️❣️💐💐💐
Thank you for posting photos of your beautiful roses. More importantly, thank for thinking of us when you posted these photos. I will continue to pray for your healing.
Hello, Tolife_18!
Your spectacular roses *did* make me smile - my gosh, I can't remember the last time I saw roses growing in the earth (vs. a bin at Whole Foods/Trader Joe's)!
Your pics reminded me of my yard growing up in NJ...My mom had a green thumb and grew roses, along with lots of other plants/flowers/veggies (I think we were the only family in suburban NJ w/ rows of corn behind the garage! ).
Thank you so much for sharing the pics...I really do love to see some of the beautiful things and places people here enjoy...
I hope you're doing well, enjoying your garden, etc...
Lucky for me, your family was not the only one growing corn behind the garage or, in our case, barn. in Ridgewood, New Jersey. We had a fenced in corn crop and the pet rabbit was allowed in after the corn had grown some, to eat the weeds. We'd put the pot on with the water and go out to pick the corn. By the time the corn was shucked, the water was boiling. Oh! My goodness! I expect that you will agree that there is nothing to compare. Where in Nj were/are you?
Oh how beautifu I love roses. Makes me smile. I had surgery on this passed Thursday June 23rd to remove a cancerous lump all went well . Waiting on results of test on lymphnodes I pray for a good report 🙏. Thanks for Sharing your beautiful roses. And prayers for you healing.
What beautiful roses!!! Thank you so much for sharing! Stay strong and stick with the PT. It helped me get out out of my wheelchair, and I hope the same will happen for you!
These are just stunning! We cannot grow roses as Japanese beetles eat them! So sorry to hear you are in a wheelchair. I am dealing with left dropped foot from radiation. Three super targeted treatments, and still repercussions, but my brace is annoying but works.
Glad your brace works. Japanese beatles are definitely a problem, but they appear later in my area. I was always very diligent to remove them in a container with soapy water. Not happening this year.
Oh, that apricot rose! 😍 They're all beautiful, I've just not seen that color very often. Thank your husband for the pics and thank you for sharing. They certainly did make me smile this morning. I wheel my 92-year-old mom around our backyard (it's mostly decking - we have an inground pool and a very small yard so it's easy for a wheelchair) to see the crepe myrtle and Texas sage when it's in bloom. The delight on her face is priceless. Flowers can do that.
Our crepe Myrtle doesn’t bloom unti end of July. And yes, grandkids (I was a child bride 😆) and flowers always lift my mood. All the best to you and your mom!
Hi PolinaThose roses are so perfect, they must give you great joy. Do they have a nice bouquet?
What absolutely lovely roses you have! Thanks to hubby for taking the pictures and thank you for thinking of us and posting them! It certainly brighten my day and put a smile on my face. A simple reminder of the beauty in this world! Blessings and healing prayers for you.
